Order Authorization

All orders submitted to Martin Line must be placed by authorized distributor only. It is the responsibility of the distributor to ensure that only an authorized person places an order. Martin Line will not be responsible or liable for orders placed by anyone representing or employed by the customer that is not authorized to execute a purchase transaction.Absolute Minimums – $50(V) Total per order on custom orders. Final artwork is e-mailed, faxed or mailed prior to production for approval by the customer or an authorized representative of the distributor.

Artwork Approval Form

To ensure the best service possible we require that art approval forms be signed and returned by fax. We request that you carefully read and understand the form before returning it.

Billing and Payment

All orders require prepayment by check or credit card before production. Net 30 day terms will be granted to customers with established credit with Martin Line. A credit application must be completed to establish credit terms. First two orders must be paid in advance. Please allow 3-4 weeks to process the credit application. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. Company checks must clear the bank before shipping.


All orders are shipped F.O.B. Factory unless otherwise indicated. All freight and handling charges will be paid by customer. If a shipping method has not been specifically requested by the customer, United Parcel Service will be utilized. If other shipment means are required due to unusual circumstances, upon your approval, we will select the most appropriate method to deliver your product in time for your event. Split shipments are $5.00 (X) per address plus freight. No APOs or Post Office deliveries.


Upon receipt of your order, please count and compare with your invoice and examine all merchandise. All claims for shortage or defective items must be reported to our office within 5 days of receipt of merchandise. All claims for undelivered shipments must be reported to our office within 5 days of anticipated receipt of merchandise.


Unless custom products are damaged in shipment or reflect obvious defects in workmanship, they cannot be returned to us under any circumstances. No refunds are granted. We will replace defective items. Sublimation process and indoor products are not intended for outdoor use, direct sunlight or high heat exposures. Martin Line will not be held liable for fading. It is understood that variations of size, color, and/or patterns are characteristic of art quality handmade awards and are not considered defects. Surface variation, grain, texture, veining and surface cracking are natural occurrences that appear throughout natural materials and may affect your copy. Since they cannot be avoided when using natural materials, no replacement will be provided for these occurrences.

Returning Stock Items with imprint or engraving.

Must call and get an RMA number with in 5 days after receipt,  25% restocking fee.                           

Cancellation Charges

Orders canceled during production and prior to shipment will be charged an amount equal to the percentage of completion of the order at the time the order is canceled. $40 (V) Minimum Charge.

Pre-production Samples

Some products are available for pre-production samples to be produced and delivered for review prior to actual production of the order. For further details, please contact our sales team. Minimum Order $50(V) with custom text or logo. Blank samples are EQP plus freight.

Proof Charge

If you send camera ready art and still need to see a proof, the charge is $15(N). Production time begins at time of proof approval.

Production Time / Rush Service

 -Normal production time is 7-10 work days
-Due to time constraint circumstances stated by the customer, some products may be produced in less time than the normal production schedule.
-Rush Production is 2-4 work days. Rush charges are 50% additional, minimum rush charge $50(R). Contact our sales team for rush service availability and applicable charges.

Prices in this catalog are current and subject to change without prior notice. We will make every effort to advance notice of any changes.

Rights to Promotion

Martin Line reserves the right to use any and all products produced for sale to customers in any advertisement, direct mail, collateral materials, trade show booth or other marketing vehicle and displays unless otherwise specified in writing by the customer at the time the order is placed. Products displayed in any advertising, marketing, display or promotional vehicle are shown as examples of the type and quality of the products produced. They are not represented for resale, nor are they to be construed as product or brand-name endorsements for the registered mark owners.

Trademarks, Registration Marks and Copyrights

The customer shall defend, hold harmless and free all liability, Martin Line regarding trademark, registration mark, or copyright infringements and/or disputes. Martin Line assumes the customer has permission prior to production to use all registered designs, marks, logos, graphics, and other artwork submitted for the express purpose of reproduction of same into awards and products. The customer agrees to assume any and all responsibility and liability resulting from trademark, registration mark, or copyright infringement actions or demands brought against Martin Line.

Sending Artwork

Clean black and white artwork is essential for proper laser engraving. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes camera-ready art. Copied or faxed artwork in not considered camera-ready. Unacceptable art will incur a minimum Art Charge of $50.00(V) per hour without prior approval. We will advise if charges will exceed this minimum When e-mailing an electronic file, please submit it in any of the following formats:

Line Art Logos:

Adobe Illustrator ver. 7 or 8 (.ai) PC format; (ver. 5 MAC format)
CorelDRAW 15 or lower (.cdr)
• Resolution of 600 dpi
• Include any font files that are unique to your artwork or convert the text to outlines.

Saving from Adobe or Mac.
Step One:
Simplify your artwork in Illustrator in any way possible. Everything on one layer is best. Delete the extra layers. Don’t leave hidden or locked layers. Don’t lock the one layer you are using.
Step Two:
Convert all text to outlines. No font information should be included.
Step Three:

Save As Illustrator EPS. Make sure the name you use is short has no spaces and especially eliminate [Converted] Illustrator likes to include “Converted” on some files and Corel hates this.

Step Four:

Make sure all of the options for an EPS are turned off

Save in Illustrator Version 8

Say OK when Illustrator warns you.


DO NOT REOPEN in Illustrator without repeating this entire procedure. Send attached to an e-mail without ZIP or Stuffit or any kind of compression.

All Grayscale and color artwork will incur a minimum art charge of $50.00(V) without prior approval. We will advise if charges will exceed this minimum.
